034 : Dola re Dola Vs Pinga - An attempt to recreate magic

Sanjay Leela Bhansali , needs no introduction the maker of Devdas and Black is back this time with his next magnum opus Bajirao Mastani . The makers of movie are leaving no stone unturned to create the hype. After Devdas, its Bajirao Mastani that has created a curiosity. For me personally, I'm keen to look forward for the songs and their making. The songs Gajanana and Deewani Mastani are good, but my expectation was on the song Pinga..

Lovely dance choreography and extremely well coordinated effort visible, though Deepika is lively its Priyanka steals the show.  Personally , I feel Priyanka and Deepika duo fail to create the magic Madhuri and Aishwarya . For some reason, the background of the song is dull and and the celebration aspect seem to be missing ..The voice of Shreya Goshal peps up the song and balances out the gap in making. All said and done..this is the best song in the recent past. Here are the songs which had rekindled and directed me to blog after a long gap, 

033 : Namo Namo Narayana.. - Sri Ranganadhaney Devotional Rendetion

There are various devotional by the sheer lyrics and quality of rendering , stays in mind forever. I still remember, this song was extensively played almost a decade or so back during Bramorchavam relay in Sun TV, from then on wards this song has been one of my favorites .

This song is from an album called,  Namo Namo Sri Narayana sung by prodigy singer Mahanadhi Shobana and music by Aravinth .  The song has lingering effect and says anandahmey! at the end of each verse offers happiness (anandham)...The song offers elevated experience with the  magical Sanskrit slokas in between each verse.

This is the first album I heard in my collection this year...
